A lot of people thought this storm wouldn't be such a big deal, but Mother Nature is proving us wrong. We'll be under a Winter Storm Warning this afternoon thru Sunday. Check the map below to see area driving conditions. As the storm comes our way, it's causing lots of trouble. For instance, MnDOT issued a travel alert...

Travel alert: Interstate 90 west of Blue Earth closed due to winter conditions. Westbound I-90 motorists are being warned of closure through multiple digital message boards starting at Dresbach Bridge. Updates announced on Twitter. Use caution as storm continues #MnDOT

Their alert also said...

Westbound I-90 motorists are being warned of the closure through multiple digital message boards on the interstate from Dresbach Bridge west to give motorists enough warning to make changes to their travel plans.

How will you know when it's clear? Check here regularly (you don't need an account to check the link).

MnDOT has over 100 snowplows out all over the place, working over 3,700 miles of lanes. When you see them, remember to stay back. Don't try to pass because they can't see you.
