Hugo Matejcek VFW Auxiliary Scholarship

Applications are being accepted for the Hugo Matejcek VFW Auxiliary 3723 Scholarship. Applicants must be a current graduating senior of Owatonna or Medford schools, participated in the VFW Voice of Democracy or Young American Creative Patriotic Art programs during high school and maintained at least a "C" grade average through graduation.

The $500 scholarship is in memory of the late Beatrice Natzel, who offered many years of service to the VFW Auxiliary Americanism Program at various levels.

The application forms can be found at the Medford and Owatonna high school guidance offices. The deadline to apply is April 15.
