The next edition of History Uncorked will be Thursday, February 22 at 7PM. It's a chance to learn about history while enjoying a glass of wine, beer, or pop. The Murder on the Straight River deals with an incident in 1878 that occurred during an ice harvest on the Straight River. Tickets are $10 for members and $15 for non members.

Free childrens' programming on Thursday, March 1 with the Jr History Detectives meeting at 9AM and the History Detectives at 6:30PM at the History Center.

March 24 will be your opportunity to explore emigration through photography with a Vesterheim Museum Event at the History Center. This event will feature a luncheon and program from 12-2PM. Tickets are $30 for members and $35 for non members. It will include the program "Rocks and Hard Places-emigration through the lens of Knud Knudsen. Knudsen was the founder of one of the first photography businesses in Bergen Norway.
