Laura Resler of the Steele County Historical Society stopped by AM 1390 for our Talk of the Town. The Chuck Wagon Supper will be July 12th from 5:30 till 7pm. The menu includes shredded pork sandwiches, calico beans, chips, watermelon, bars and 1919 root beer. Tickets are 12 dollars and on sale now at the Historical Society, Kottke's and Tri m Graphics.

On the 13th the Extravaganza begins with the flag raising at 11am with free admission. Entertainment includes the Tractor slow races, Sunday Punch, Dunnell Lenort, the Cannon Old West Society, Darlene Schmidt, Peddler, Pumper and Politician and a vintage baseball game at 3pm.

There will also be free admission to the History Center. Exhibits are : Steele County in the Korean War, Early Entrepreneurs and a portrait exhibit of Minnesota Holocaust survivors.
