Owatonna's opponents each had a player record a hat trick in holiday tournament play Tuesday. The OHS boys lost 5-2 to St. Louis Park and the girls lost 3-0 to St. Francis.

St. Francis junior Sophia Zebro scored all the goals in a 3-0 win for the Saints. The Huskies got out shot 23-17 and were 0-for-3 on the power play. OHS plays Totino-Grace in the seventh place game Wednesday at 12PM at the Super Rink in Blaine.

The OHS boys opened play in the Heritage tournament in Duluth with a 5-2 loss to St. Louis Park. The Orioles took a 3-1 lead early in the third period on a goal by senior Bauer Neudecker. The Huskies pulled within 3-2 on a power-play goal by Carter Broton with assists to Mitchell Mayer and Adam Rehman at 2:29. Neudecker scored his second goal less than thirty seconds later and netted his hat trick marker three minutes later. Owatonna out shot St. Louis Park 35-34 and converted on two power plays. Nick Smith scored the first goal of the game early in the first with assists to Braeden Meier and Kodey Kiel. The Huskies face Sheboygan, WI at 1PM Wednesday.

NRHEG boys' basketball stayed unbeaten with a 76-52 win over Le Sueur-Henderson in the first round of the Bethany tournament in Mankato. The Panthers lead was just two at the half before pulling away in the second half. Oakley Baker scored 25. Benji Lundberg added 19 and Tyler Raimann put in 13. NRHEG (6-0) plays in the semifinals at 6:30PM Wednesday.

Triton boys' basketball topped Glenville-Emmons Tuesday 50-34. The Cobra girls lost to Trinity 57-50 at the Randolph tournament and will play in the third place game Wednesday. The NRHEG girls open play in the St. Olaf tournament against Eastview at 3:15PM Wednesday.

Dodge County girls' hockey scored a 2-1 victory over Northfield in overtime in the Farmington tournament and will battle New Prague in Wednesday's semifinals.
