With the weather looking so iffy this morning, thunderstorms and lots of rain woke up the town. There were power outages as well. This made all of us wonder if the Harry Wenger Marching Band Festival would take place as planned. Well, Mother Nature smiled on the streets of Owatonna and the Festival took place as scheduled, on time. The rain had moved out by 10 am, along with the rain, the thunder and lighting were gone as well.

The bands played several different types of music, from traditional marching band pieces to lullabies, to popular top 40 hits, I even heard some Queen. I fully enjoyed the festival this year, all 13 bands did an amazing job, and since it was still cloudy, the temperatures were comfortable this morning.

Enjoy the pictures.
