Area Halloween events begin this weekend. Farmamerica outside Waseca brings back their Haunted Corn Maze and Feed Mill for the 13th year. It'll be open Friday, October 21, and Saturday, October 22, and the following Friday and Saturday as well from 6:30-10PM. Admission will be $10.

The Village of Yesteryear in Owatonna invites you to their A Haunt We Will Go event on Friday, October 28. Enjoy a flashlight scavenger hunt, games and snacks. It's free and will run from 6:30-8PM.

River Bend Nature Center hosts their Bats, Bones and Bonfires event on Saturday, October 29. Hours will be 2-6PM. Activities include wagon rides, live animals, Halloween crafts, face painting, games and a bouncy house. Admission will be $20 per family or $7 per person. River Bend members get in for $15 a family or $3 per person.

Saturday, October 29 is also the date for the third annual Trick or Treat Trail in Manthey Park, Owatonna. Hours will be 2-4PM. Visit local businesses along the trail for treats, games, a photo shoot and crafts. There will also be a kiddie train ride, scavenger hunt along with a petting zoo. Free hot chocolate and Papa Murphy's Pizza will be served until 5PM.
