CBS’ ‘Extant’ Trailer: Steven Spielberg’s Halle Berry Sci-Fi Drama Births Creepy New Look
We've seen a few scant glances of CBS' forthcoming Halle Berry-led astronaut drama, 'Extant,' but at long last, a full trailer for the Steven Spielberg-produced summer series has arrived. Find out what Halle brought back with her from space!
Via Entertainment Weekly, CBS' first real 'Extant' trailer confirms that while Halle Berry's Molly Woods may have spent 13 months in outer space on a solo mission, she didn't return home alone. Upon her return, the government and shadowy forces want to know what exactly she saw in the black, while her young son also appears to have some unique knowledge. And really, when have creepy kids ever been done before?
CBS previously described ‘Extant’ as a futuristic thriller chronicling a female astronaut attempting to reconnect with her family after a year spent in outer space, and whose experiences lead to events that will forever change the course of human history as we know it. In addition to Goran Visnjic as Berry's husband, ‘Transformers‘ star and ‘Bates Motel‘ season 2 guest Michael O’Neill portrays a former astronaut who has since become the director of the privatized space program. ‘Helix,’ ‘The Wolverine‘ and ‘LOST‘ baddie Hiroyuki Sanada and Camryn Manheim also round out the cast of the mysterious project.
