Current Owatonna High School senior Cade King and OHS grad Peyton Robb were teammates for several years and are two of the top wrestlers in school history. As King wraps up his prep career and Robb starts his college career each is performing at an extremely high level and are featured this week for the H & R Block of Owatonna, Faribault and Lakeville as the Stat Sheet Stuffers of the Week.

King reached 200 career victories earlier this season, becoming just the second wrestler to do so after Brandon Moen. King is a three-time state tournament wrestler and won the title at 182 pounds last season after finishing second at state in 2017. He took fifth place in 2016.

King signed his National Letter of Intent this week to compete with South Dakota State University at the Division I level. He said the opportunity to study natural resource management was a big deciding factor. He is also very excited with the way the Jack Rabbits coaching staff is working with the upper weight wrestlers and how they have stayed in contact with him since he made his commitment.

King said, "They really care about me as a person," at Wednesday's National Signing Day ceremony at the OHS Commons. He said that SDSU is a, "young program...coach is really developing the wrestlers."

Regarding the level of competition he will face at the DI level, King said, "I like challenges...I'm ready for it." King had back-to-back 40-plus win seasons as a sophomore and junior for the Huskies. He is ranked No. 2 in Class AAA at 182 pounds this season.

2018 OHS grad Robb is wrestling in open tournaments with Nebraska while redshirting this season. The InterMat news service reports that he is 22-3 on the season at 157 pounds. The three-time Minnesota state champ is quoted as being pleased with his decision to switch from SDSU to the Huskers, "When I came to the University of Nebraska for a visit, I really liked the personalities of the coaches and what they had to offer."

Robb plans to major in nutrition, exercise and health science with the goal of becoming a coach.
