Gus' Station was built in 1931 in Ellendale. It was across the street from the former Creamery, which is now Al's Body Shops. Gus and Hilda Jacobson began a 30-year run operating the station, starting in 1946. It was a well-known hangout spot for Ellendale school students. The building was moved to the Village of Yesteryear in 2014.

You can read more about Gus' Station and the other buildings in the village by going to the Steele County Historical Society website.
