Goodhue Swingers Charged In Assault Case
Above a Goodhue-area garage, authorities found toys recently. Not the kind children would play with, but very adult toys in a sex room. After authorities discovered this place, a Goodhue swingers couple was charged with numerous criminal sexual conduct charges, including that they were involved in the assault of a girl starting when she was 15.
According to the Star Tribune, the "swingers" were identified as Michael Lowell Germain, 43, and Heather Laverne Germain, 49, of Goodhue. They appeared in court and were booked and released on bond on Monday.
According to the report, they had set up a sex room in the attic above their attached garage, and kept sex toys and bondage items in there. A girl contacted authorities in January and said Michael Germain had been attracted to her since she was 14 and first assaulted her when she was 15 and that she had been raped and engaged in sex with both parties at one point.
When questioned, Germain denied assaulting the girl but said he and his wife are swingers. Authorities did find video evidence of the girl having sex with a man. A search was conducted in January.
Michael Germain is charged with criminal sexual conduct charges in the first, second, third and fourth degrees and with interference with the privacy of a minor. Heather Germain is charged with first- and third-degree criminal sexual conduct, interference with the privacy of a minor and drug possession.
