Good Eating in Blooming Prairie

There will be a couple of fundraisers in Blooming Prairie this weekend. Both involve food.

Friday, February 24, the Blooming Prairie Cancer Group will host a Soup and Pickled Challenge. A donation at the door of the Cue Company in Blooming Prairie will enable you to sample 10 local soups along with pickled food. Your job is to judge the best. Hours will be 6-8PM this Friday.

On Sunday, February 26, the Stix of Fury will host a pancake breakfast benefit. There will also be a silent auction. Serving hours will be 9AM to noon at the Pizza Cellar in Blooming Prairie. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, ham, eggs, muffins and beverage. The cost is a donation. All proceeds will go to the Stix of Fury transportation fund.
