Goldy & Gang visit Owatonna

The University of Minnesota Road Trip, Chalk Talk stopped at the Owatonna Country Club for a “Gopher Sports Update” to a packed lunch-time crowd.

Play-by-play announcer Mike Grimm emceed the event. He highlighted the success of the Gopher sports program this school year, which includes EIGHT Big Ten titles and a top ten current ranking the National Learfield Sports Directors Cup.

University of MN mens basketball coach Richard Pitino headlined the parade of Gopher coaches to the podium.

Federated Insurance was one of the big local sponsors to bring the Road Trip to Owatonna. And quite a few of the fans in attendance were from Federated.
