Federated Tournament Champs

The Owatonna High School boys basketball team won the annual Federated Holiday Tournament for the first time in three years, beating Waseca 50-38 on Tuesday night.

OHS senior Dexter Leer was named the tournament M-V-P. Juniors Eli Havelka and Alex Emanuelson were also named to the All-Tournament Team.

BOYS HOCKEY

The Huskies lost 5-1 to #16 ranked Bemidji 5-1 in the semifinals of the Heritage Tournament, hosted by Duluth Denfeld. Peter Jones scored Owatonna's only goal. Goalie Greg Somers made some remarkable saves to keep the Huskies in the game! OHS will play for third place Wednesday at 1:00pm on KRFO AM 1390.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Prior Lake beat NRHEG 91-64 in the St. Olaf Tournament.
