The Faribault Falcons had to face the Marshall Tigers on Saturday, without the services of Kade Hart and Tristan leavans-Haynes, and lost to the Tigers 60-43.

The Falcons did a good job of running a patient offense in the first half and kept it close. Marshall lead by eight at the half, 30-22. But you could tell when the Tigers came out after halftime that they were going to be more aggressive. At one point, they ran the lead up to at least 20. All the Falcons that played in the game gave their all.

Faribault ran into a bit of foul trouble late. Chase Ernste fouled out, TJ Hunt had four and Bidong Tut also had four.

Cody Ehlers had 12 points and Bidong Tut 11 to lead the Falcons. The State Farm Insurance Agents of Faribault Players of the game were the seniors: Kade Hart, TJ Hunt, Chase Ernste, Cody Ehlers, Sam Jasinski and Alex Linse. Joe Jackson, for his efforts in the game, was also named to the list.

Faribault finishes at 15-13.
