The Faribault Woolen Mill Co. was honored yesterday with the chance to set up a display in Washington, D.C., for a Made in America event showcasing American-made products.

According to Whitehouse.gov, "President Donald J. Trump will host companies from across the country at the White House for the Made in America Product Showcase. The White House is highlighting and celebrating each state’s effort and commitment to American made products by bringing in and showing off products from all 50 states that are made and produced in the United States."

Each of the 50 states will have a company representing them, and the products range from bucket trucks, golf clubs, rum, farm equipment, fishing gear, piano, soda, wheel barrows, cowboy hats and brooms, to helicopters and much more.

According to the Faribault Woolen Mill Co. Facebook page, among those representing the Faribault company in Washington, D.C., were mill CEO Tom Kileen and longtime mill employee (63 years) Mary Boudreau. What an amazing recognition for everyone involved with the Faribault Woolen Mills.

If you are interested in learning more about the Faribault Woolen Mills, they offer tours on Wednesdays at 11AM, Fridays at 11AM and 1PM, and Fair Week Saturday, July 22, at 11AM and 1PM.
