Faribault boys hockey rallied with a pair of third period goals to beat Dodge County 3-2 on Tuesday night in Kasson.

After a scoreless first period, Faribault dominated the second period, out shooting the Wildcats 13-5 but went to the locker room trailing 2-1. The Falcons scored a pair in the third to grab the win.

Koy Payne scored from the left circle on a 5-on-3 power play midway through the third to tie the game at 2-2. Dodge County had a potential go-ahead goal waived off several minutes later. The Falcons got the game-winning goal from Austin Lewis with about six minutes to go.

Anthony Simons opened the scoring with a power play tally early in the second period. Max Blaisdell scored twice for the Wildcats.

Faribault out shot the Wildcats 26-20. Chase Batchelder stopped 18 shots for the win. The Falcons (2-2) play at Owatonna (2-2) Thursday at 7:30, with the play-by-play on Power 96 radio, and on the FREE RadioPup app. Dodge County plays at Minneapolis Saturday afternoon.
