Steele County Emergency Management and Owatonna Steele County Amateur Club (OSCAR) will have Ham Radio license classes on Tuesday and Thursdays from Feb. 16 to March 10.
Each class will be from 6:30 to 8:30PM at the Owatonna Fire Station, 107 W. Main St.
Participants will learn the use of emergency communications and students will prepare for the No-Code Technician Class license examinations.
The classes are free and open to all ages. Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. The study guide is $29.
The license exam will be on Thursday, March 10. The exam fee for all levels of Amateur Radio is $15.
