John Klatt 5K to Benefit Steele County Veterans

Lt. Col. John Klatt is a member of the Air National Guard and takes veterans benefits to heart. On Sept. 10, come out to the Owatonna airport and run at sunset with Klatt in support of our country's veterans. There will be a 5K run with a 1-mile fun run for kids. Stop by for food, music, and a meet and greet with Klatt.

Register online in advance at www.johnklattairshows.com. The open house and registration on event day start at 5PM. The kids fun run is at 7:15PM; the 5K starts at 7:30PM.

Online preregistration is $20; event-day registration is $25 for adults and $5 for the kids fun run.

The event features a public open house with food, music, airplanes, prizes and a meet and greet. Visitors can see Klatt's airplanes and meet one of the top aerobatic pilots in the world.

Proceeds benefit local military veterans. Attendeeds can make a donation online or at the open house to win a chance for a once-in-a-lifetime aerobatic flight.
