Help the Rice County Historical Society celebrate 90 years of preserving local history and learn more about the 1876 James-Younger Gang raid on the First National Bank of Northfield.

The Rice County Historical Society is offering a program titled "The Failed 1876 Bank Raid and Today" at 7PM Tuesday, May 10, at the Rice County Historical Society, 1814 Second Ave. N.W., Faribault.

Hayes Scriven, director of the Northfield Historical Society will provide background on the history of the bank raid, and focus on the research and analysis that has been done, particularly on the skeleton in the Northfield Historical Society collection and its connection to the raid.
