Additional Information

The Czech Area Concertina Band from New Prague will be coming to West Concord Historical Society in West Concord on Sunday, April 19.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy an afternoon of great music from 2-5 p.m., organizers said. Admission will be a donation at the door.
The Czech Area Concertina Club is the world’s largest Chemnitzer concertina club in the world. The club currently has more than 250 members. The club meets once a month in New Prague and club members play at about 25 events a year. All club members are encouraged to actively participate.
There are several types of concertinas, often named after their creators or, as in the case of the Chemnitzer, place of origin. The Chemnitzer concertina is the most common one in the American Midwest.
The afternoon’s events are sponsored by the West Concord Historical Society and the Cardinal Club of West Concord
