The Cannon Falls Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to attend the First Thursday Fun Fest on Thursday, September 1, in historic downtown Cannon Falls. More than 35 vendors will be offering a variety of goods and services and First Farmers & Merchants Bank will be serving rootbeer floats for a donation to the Cannon Falls Food Shelf. The Fun Fest will feature products ranging from hand-created items to local honey and wines to candles and clothing to handcrafted wood lawn furniture and luxury soaps. You’ll find jams, jellies, craft items demos, and products such as Paparazzi Accessories, Young Living Essential Oils, Usborne books. Check out the “Design Your Own Button” booth for a fun, free activity for kids and adults.

Kids 12 and younger are invited to bring their bikes to the Bike Safety Rodeo that will take place during the fun fest on the Mill Street Bridge. Girl Scout Troop 25000 and the Cannon Falls Police Department are hosting this event to educate and promote safe bicycling in our community! The bike safety rodeo is being coordinated by Haley Helgren as a Silver Award Project. Don’t forget to wear your helmets!
