Ecumen Brooks Lights of Honor Ceremonies Scheduled

The Ecumen Brooks/Countryside will hold its annual Lights of Honor ceremonies in early October. The public may purchase lanterns for $50 by calling (507) 461-9277 or stopping by either Ecumen Brooks or Countryside.

The ceremony at Ecumen Brooks on St. Paul Road will be 6PM Thursday, October 6. The ceremony at Countryside on El Dorado in Owatonna will be 6PM Thursday, October 13.

The ceremony lasts about an hour and will consist of cupcake treats, champagne punch, a memorial service and the lighting of the lanterns in memory or honor of loved ones. There will also be a balloon release and music at both events.

The Ecumen Brooks and Countryside are nonprofits and proceeds will be used to buy needed items for both locations. There will be Lights of Honor events at all Ecumen locations.

The public is invited to either or both ceremonies.
