Owatonna's baseball and boys lacrosse teams faced early deficits Tuesday. Each team rallied but came up short at the end.

OHS baseball lost to Albert Lea 6-4 at Fuller Field after falling behind 5-0. The Huskies rallied to within 5-4 but the Tigers added an insurance run in the seventh and scored the Big Nine victory. Owatonna's rally included a three-run fourth inning. They loaded the bases with consecutive singles by Tucker Alstead, Noah Budach and Brady Schuster. Abe Havelka walked to force in a run. Ben Staska and Nathan Deason hit into ground outs that pushed runners across home plate.

In the fifth inning, Dawson Leer walked. Spencer Glynn ran for him and advanced to third on a errant pick off play at first. He jogged home on a long double by Alstead. Schuster started on the mound for the Huskies. Havelka took over in the fourth.
