The 19th annual Dodge County Expo will be Saturday, April 1, at Triton High School in Dodge Center from 8AM to 2PM with free admission.

The event has grown from a small expo highlighting Dodge Center to an event that features businesses and organizations from every corner of the county. The 18th annual event in 2016 attracted several thousand people from southern Minnesota. Businesses from outside the county have requested the opportunity to put up displays, but organizers are keeping it as a showcase of Dodge County groups. More than 100 will be on display Saturday.

A $1 continental breakfast opens the event. Local businesses, service groups, governmental agencies and charitable groups will put up displays with plenty of giveaways and door prizes. Just for Kix dancers and the cheer team will put on demonstrations in the south gym beginning at 9:30AM.

The family/youth station in the multipurpose room will features hands-on STEM demonstrations, Legos, virtual reality and coloring. Rookie the clown will make balloon creations in the west gym. Henna tattoos will be available in the east gym.

Kat Kountry 105FM will be on hand with live reports from 8-10AM with morning guy Loren Hart.
