Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Owatonna

A motorcycle and an SUV collided Tuesday afternoon in Owatonna, resulting in serious injuries to the cyclist. The accident happened about 4:30PM at the Cedar Avenue South and Oakdale Street intersection in front of Taco Johns on the south end of town.

Witnesses report the cyclist was conscious after the collision. The Minnesota State Patrol is expected to conduct a possible crash reconstruction. The motorcycle and SUV both suffered considerable damage. The cyclist was transported from the scene by Gold Cross Ambulance.
