Crime Alert in Owatonna

The Owatonna Police Department is asking citizens to report any suspicious activity after a series of crime incidents. The police are investigating several crime incidents involving thefts from commercial business locations that resulted in the loss of construction equipment, trailers, skid steers, semi-tractor along with the attempted theft of an ATV and an ATM.

All reported incidents appear to be related. These incidents took place within the Owatonna city limits starting November 18, 2015. The thefts occurred between 1AM and 5:30AM.

Residents are encouraged to secure their property that is left outside and make sure that security and or surveillance systems are working properly. Also keep areas well lit.
