Almost anyone who has ever shopped at Cashwise Foods in Owatonna has come in contact with Corey Casperson. From bagging groceries to pushing the long line of carts back into the store. Always smiling and never failing to greet you. Corey recently underwent the amputation of his leg and as a result a fund raiser is being held Sunday, April 29 at the Owatonna Elks Club. Hours will be 3-7PM.

Sloppy Joes, Chips and Dessert will be served up along with prizes and a silent auction. Tickets are $10 and on sale at Cashwise, the Elks and at the door.

In 2003 Corey was struck by a car while on his scooter. The accident left him with severe injuries which resulted in numerous surgeries and multiple bone infections. It was after a recent serious bone infection that the decision to amputate his leg was made. As a result he can no longer work.
