It's been a bit too cold to put any plants out in the garden. We have been harvesting rhubarb for about a week, though. The potatoes have been in for three weeks and I've got lettuce and carrot seeds in. We are getting close. The Steele County Community Gardening Association is once again providing plots for rent. They have 42 of them near Riverland Community College in Owatonna.

A 20-foot-by-20-foot plot is $30. There will be a meeting Thursday, April 30, at 6PM at the Steele County Community Center to go over the garden rules and requirements.
