Registration for classes and trips offered through Owatonna Community Education continues at the Roosevelt School, over the phone and online.

Some of the upcoming events include several walking tours with historian Nancy Vaillancourt. These tours include Forest Hills Cemetery in May. Also a walking tour through downtown Owatonna in June, and a walking tour of unique homes in the Owatonna area, where participants can examine the different types of architecture in the area.

Trips include a Mom's Day Out on May 6. This includes a trip to a large Garden Center in the Twin Cities along with a stop at the Eagan Outlet Mall.

This July's Garden Tour will be in a mystery city about an hour away. This mystery city includes a historic downtown.

There are plenty of activities for youngsters to sign up for too. They include flag football for second- through fifth-graders. There will also be a chess tournament for kindergarten through 10th graders in April. Babysitting and Home Alone will also be offered.
