The Owatonna Izaak Walton League is teaming up with Steele County Indivisible for a presentation on The Science of Climate Change. The public forum will be Tuesday, February 27 from 7-8:30PM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church on St. Paul Road in Owatonna.

Speakers will include Alan Anderson a former small business owner and long time executive with the Boys Scouts. He's recognized as a sought after-speaker on the science of climate change.

Kelli Lewis of the Citizens' Climate Lobby of Minnesota will speak as well. She currently serves as state coordinator for the citizens' Climate lobby. She will speak about the bi-partisan, revenue-neutral Carbon Fee and Dividend proposal. This proposal is designed to reduce and stabilize emissions of CO2 in the earth's atmosphere. the Citizens' Climate Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan group that is focused on national policies to address climate change.

The presentation is free of charge and open to the public. A discussion period will follow the guest speakers.
