Yes, Hogfest is back, returning in August. The dates are August 3rd-5th, and they have a great line-up of events. The fun starts on Friday at 5 pm, with the Gopher State Garden Tractor Pull. They will also have a Sweet Corn Feed at the Firestation at 5 as well. Stick around for the FD demonstration and a DJ and Karaoke at 8 pm. I am going to name drop here, I know the DJ, Ryan, and he does a great job keeping the tunes going and the crowd pumped.

Saturday starts with the Hog Jog at 8 am, and continues with activities all day. There will be kickball and volleyball, mud bogs, kids games, Bingo, and Smokescreen will be performing live at 8 pm.

On Sunday, there will be a pancake breakfast, this is a fundraiser for the Veteran's Memorial according to Bruce Hayden, the chaplain of the American Legion in Claremont. He stopped by our studio to share information with us today. So, if you are looking for something to do next weekend, check out Hogfest in Claremont, it's a weekend of family and fun entertainment. You can even help with raising money for the Veteran's Memorial.

There are so many activities, I can't list them all here. There is something for everyone all weekend long.
