Bring The Kids To The Fairgrounds Saturday

It's a family event this Saturday, October 6. The We All Play Day BBQ runs 11-7PM in the Beer Garden at the Steele County Fairgrounds. Enjoy a half chicken dinner for $10. Proceeds will benefit the We All Play Playground/Miracle Field. The dinner also includes Mrs. Gerry's Cole Slaw, Baked Beans, Roll, Cookie and Beverage. Bring the kids along as there will be a Kids Run Walk and Roll starting at 10:30AM. The first 200 entrants will receive a medal. There will also be a bounce house, fire trucks and more.

The We All Play Playground/Miracle Field will be located at Manthey Park. The Miracle League removes the barriers that keep children with mental and physical disabilities off the baseball field. The field will offer a custom-designed rubberized field  that accomodates wheelchairs and other mobility devices. The playground will feature attractions that will allow those with disabilities to enjoy the fun that others kids enjoy. Tickets will be available at the door.
