Blooming Prairie is Getting Busy

Upcoming events in Blooming Prairie include a bike rodeo on Thursday, September 15. Kids are asked to have their bikes at the Boys and Girls Club by 4PM. Police officers will give bike safety lessons and hand out free bike helmets. There will also be a drawing for a new boys bike and a new girls bike.

Later on Thursday at 6:30PM, the public is invited to a meeting in regards to the upcoming 150th birthday celebration of Blooming Prairie next year. The meeting will be at the City Building. Residents can offer up their suggestions for the celebration.

Saturday, September 17, is the annual Car Show and Crazy Days. Cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors are invited to show off on Main Street between 10Am and 1PM. Registration is just $10.

And, of course, don't forget the 16th annual Blooming Prairie Cancer Auction this weekend today and Saturday, September 10. The auction begins at 7PM both nights under the big top.
