The Awesome Blossoms host Triton on Tuesday night at 7:15PM. NRHEG goes to Tri-City United and Medford is at Cannon Falls. Owatonna plays Thursday at Rosemount.

Blooming Prairie has a young team, according to coach John Bruns, and will have a short bench with just eight regular varsity players to start the season. After their home opener with Triton on Tuesday, Blooming Prairie goes to Waterville-Elysian-Morristown on Friday and hosts defending Class A state champion Goodhue on Tuesday, December 6. Triton's second game of the season will be their home opener next Tuesday against Byron.

The Medford girls play at Cannon Falls on Tuesday at 6PM and hosts Maple River on Friday night. Tigers coach Mark Kubat is looking for his four seniors to lead the team.

NRHEG opens at Tri-City United on Tuesday night at 7:30PM. Thursday's game in New Richland against Bethlehem Academy will be carried on KDHL AM 920.

Owatonna begins its girls basketball season Thursday, December 1, at 7PM at Rosemount with play-by-play on Kat Kountry 105FM. The Huskies play at home Saturday night against Mankato East at 7:30PM. The OHS athletic office has indicated the gym floor will be ready for a boys basketball event Friday. The floor had to be replaced after an August storm flooded the gym.
