The Faribault Police Department is putting on their sixth annual Bike Rodeo on Thursday, June 4, at Alexander North Park from 6-8PM. Meet at the Blue Shelter (#4). Kids can get their bikes checked over, go through an obstacle course, view a presentation and go on a bike ride. With how much bikes cost these days, why not take the time at a free event to get the bike checked over and get some tips for safe riding.

Bring your bike and a helmet (if you have one). Parents should chaperone any children younger than 10.

If you have any Boy Scouts in your family, the fire safety merit badge also will be offered during this event.

This is a free event put on by the Faribault Police Department and the Police Explorers.

A great way for kids to interact in a friendly way with the police department and have fun learning more about their bikes. There are more bikes out at this time of year as school gets out, so motorists should use caution and keep an eye out.
