BBQ Competition Comes to Owatonna

This Saturday, October 15, will mark the date for the first Chubb's Brew-BQ. It'll be held at Ritchie Brothers Auctions between Owatonna and Medford starting at 4PM. The event will feature a Brew and BBQ tasting and competition.

Proceeds will benefit the Juan Villareal Jr. Memorial Fund, which will partner with the Owatonna school district to offset costs of extracurricular activities for local children who may not otherwise to be able to participate in school activities. Villareal died of cancer last October. This event is being done to honor the memory of Villareal.

Along with the BBQ and Brew tasting, there will be a silent auction and information booths for local organizations. Music will be provided by The Leopards.

Tickets are $20 and are on sale at Profinium, Masterson Staffing and Legacy Signs Inc.

You must be at least 21 to attend Chubb's Brew-BQ.
