Awful, Ice Filled Forecast for Monday and Tuesday Causes Winter Weather Advisory
Remember when we had that amazing, warm November? Well, it looks like we're paying for it with a terrible December and January. This week looks pretty wretched, starting with Monday and Tuesday.
We have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for Southeastern Minnesota from 6AM Monday, January 16, through 6AM Tuesday, January 17. Snow, sleet, rain and a wintry mix of precipitation is expected. Roads should be icy and treacherous. Commutes on Monday and Tuesday could be affected. Expect up to 1/10th of an inch of ice accumulation and up to 2 inches of snow. If you must travel, please drive carefully. Motorists are urged to drive safely and please allow for extra travel time. Reductions in visibility are possible.
