Owatonna High School sophomore goalie Ryan Johnson got a shutout in his first varsity start. Eighth-grade wrestler Jerez Autridge went 2-0 with a pin in his first night of varsity action.

Johnson only needed to make six saves in the Owatonna boys hockey 5-0 win at Rochester Century, as the Huskies outshot the Panthers 64-6 while completing the season sweep. The Huskies play at Chanhassen on Saturday at 3PM.

Huskies wrestling swept a Big Nine triangular at Winona, beating the host team 45-20 and Austin 59-9. In addition to Autridge, senior Mike Thom and sophomore Parker Holtan made their varsity debut. Brandon Moen and Austin Abbas each went 2-0 with two pins. Kaden Nelson, Tanner Cole and Goy Tut all went 2-0. OHS goes to the Mounds View tournament Saturday at 9AM

Owatonna girls hockey stumbled at Farmington, falling 6-1. OHS plays Century at 1PM Saturday at Graham Arena.
