Another Road Closure in Steele County

More road repair in Steele County is slated to begin the week of June 20. The latest project will involve concrete repair on CSAH 7 or Southwest 39th Street and Southwest 18th Street. Crews will be replacing sections of the concrete over trench settlements at sanitary pipe crossings installed by the city of Owatonna.

During this work, the roadway will be closed to through traffic. The posted detour route will be along Southwest 18th Street, Southwest 24th Avenue and West Bridge Street.

During the recent heat, a section of median concrete buckled that will be replaced at the same time. This is between Southwest 18th Street and TH 14. Traffic will be maintained at this stretch during the work.

All work is expected to be complete by July 1.
