The Steele County Historical Society welcomes Americana Showcase on Friday, Nov. 20 at 7:30PM. Three musicians will be performing.
Dave Simonett writes songs, sings and plays guitar. Simonett is in a couple of bands: Trampled by Turtles and Dead Man Winter from Duluth.
Brandon Sampson is from Lyle, Minn. He plays guitar in the band Six Mile Grove with his brother, Brian; who plays the drums. At the showcase, Brandon will be solo; however, there will be some of the group sound.
John Wheeler - also in Six Mile Grove - plays pedal steel guitar, dobro and accordion. Wheeler grew up in Rochester and has been in different rock bands from the area.
The social hour begins at 6:30PM with musicians beginning at 7:30PM.
The tickets are $20 for non-members of the history center and $15 for members for members.
