Update: Amber Alert Canceled

An amber alert has beencanceled for a infant taken from a Coon Rapids hospital.

The mom and child were found safe.

Police were searching for a known non-custodial parent identified as Milo Smith. Authorities say Smith abducted 12-month-old Kasina Smith and her 25-year-old mother Erica Liasha Crumb shortly before 1 p.m.
According to KSTP Smith has 17 different criminal convictions on his record with offenses dating back to 2010.
