After trailing early, Dodge County roared back following a rain delay to tie up their amateur baseball game at Dartt's Park, but Owatonna scored in the 10th for the 7-6 win.

Grant Wehseler drove in Brandon Wolf with the winning run. Wolf won the game in relief. Other pitchers that took the hill for the Aces at Fuller Field on Wednesday included Isaac Rocha, Derek Ritter, Trey Fails and Cody Johnson.

The win was the fourth straight for the Aces.

Upcoming games include Friday, June 10, at Plaineview-Elgin-Millville at 7:30PM and Sunday, June 12, at Wanamingo at 2PM.

The Owatonna American Legion season begins Thursday, June 9, according to the Owatonna baseball website. Post 77 is scheduled to play the Rochester A's in a 4PM doubleheader at Century High School. Monday, June 13, Owatonna plays two at Kasson beginning at 4:30PM. Their home opener is Tuesday, June 14, against New Prague, a doubleheader starting at 5PM at Charlie Fuller Field at Dartt's Park.

The Play Ball Minnesota youth baseball and softball clinic is coming to Owatonna on Saturday, June 25, to the Steele County Fairgrounds softball diamonds. The event is promoted by Youth 1st of Owatonna. It is open to boys and girls ages 6-16 and there is no charge or registration required.
