2013 Champ to Hammer again

Rachel Madson won the KRFO Ladies Nail Driving competition in 2013, her first title. She will be back to pound again this year!

The Ladies Nail Driving contest takes place Tuesday through Saturday of the Steele County Fair at 5:00pm in front of the KRFO Stage.

The contest is open all women. No previous nail driving experience is necessary. Stop by the KRFO stage anytime and ask if there is an opening to compete!

Each of the 5 contestants attempts to be the first to pound 5 nails into a board. It can go fast! Times of ten seconds can happen....to pound in all five nails. The winner gets to hang on to the GOLDEN HAMMER Traveling Trophy for a year!

Even if you aren't going to hammer the nails, make the contest one of your destinations during the fair.
